I am Carmen Orozco, a proud mother of three amazing children—two of whom are currently attending ASU and a sixth grader in the Avondale Elementary School District.

My husband, Geovanni, is a dedicated principal in the Avondale Elementary School District. We have called the West Valley home for more than decade, first settling in Litchfield Park and now living near our favorite Target . 

My journey, from growing up in Los Angeles to navigating the challenges of a sudden move to Tennessee, has fueled my passion for education and equity.

My experiences have shown me the importance of representation and the power of community, inspiring me to run for the school board to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
